Seminar Assistant in Unit B.5 ''Support Seminar Operations'' (m/f/d)

The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make Germany more crisis-proof. We are looking for unlimited duration at the next time a seminar assistant / a seminar assistant (m/w/d) Group E 4 TVöD (Bund) in Unit B.5 “Support Seminar Operation” in the Federal Academy for Civil Protection and Civil Defence (BABZ) at the Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler office.

In the seminar office, you support technical and logistical problems at the academy location in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. Occasionally, you also support other locations and, if necessary, outside regular working hours. Seminar support – You provide technical, logistical and organizational support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of all seminars. This also includes the lifting and moving of the furniture in the seminar rooms and of local seminar technology. Technical support – You take care and maintenance of the technical equipment for the performance of the event and support the regular testing of the equipment for functionality and safety.

Ideally, you have experience in IT or electrical engineering, as well as professional experience in one of the listed tasks. You have basic knowledge of IT in seminar and academy operations or the willingness to acquire them. You have task-oriented physical performance. You have the driving licence class B. You have fun working with the team and are happy to advise colleagues. Service and service orientation are of course for you. Find out more about the application of Microsoft Office products. You bring the willingness to occasional, scheduled service trips and to occasional services outside regular working hours. Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organisation.
