Global Commodity Manager (m/w/d)

Since 1982, GS Elektromedizin Geräte GmbH has been developing and manufacturing innovative high-end devices for emergency and intensive medicine. The systems and solutions sold under the name corpuls are in daily use worldwide in over 75 countries. In our company headquarters in Kaufering near Munich, more than 400 hearts now strike for the highest demands of the life-setters. Strategy development: You develop and implement purchasing policies and commodity strategies that are based on the objectives of our organization. Global procurement: You conduct international sourcing initiatives to identify and qualify the optimal suppliers from global markets. Strategic cost management: You control the complete cycle of the Master Savings Plan – from strategic analysis to conception to successful implementation with quantifiable ROI. Risk management: You minimise risks by diversifying suppliers and developing emergency plans. Technology development: You work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop and maintain technology roadmaps. Contract management: You conduct complex negotiations at prices, delivery conditions, quality requirements and contractual conditions and develop various contracts, such as quality agreements, delivery agreements and NDAs.

Education and experience: You have a Bachelor in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a similar area (MBA of advantage) and multi-year experience in global commodity management with successes in cost reduction and process improvement. Competences: You are a negotiation expert, master cost modeling and TCO analysis and have a deep understanding of global markets and digital supply chain tools. You will also have experience in project management and cross-departmental cooperation. Personal characteristics: You think strategic, are powerful and result-oriented. In addition, you are flexible and can quickly adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. You are ready to make international trips to suppliers and global production sites (about 25%).
