As Product Manager / Category Manager (m/w/d), you contribute significantly to the value added of JACOB. You are part of our ambitious purchasing team in exciting IT trading. We are looking for you in full time (40h/week) at one of our locations. Your tasks:

You take responsibility for the manufacturer and supplier service of your product groups You continuously build your existing network in IT and electronics e-commerce reseller business to strategic partners You work out business plans, strategy papers and guidelines, present them and pursue medium and long-term profit strategies You analyze the electronics and technology market on topics such as availability, prices and competition You conduct contract negotiations - your goals are ambitious You will see the pricing, product placement and marketing on our platforms You keep an eye on stock development and communicate with internal and external stakeholders You share your experience with the team and exchange yourself to current developments

You have completed a degree or vocational training You're ideally at least. 5 years of professional experience in purchasing - with focus on Product/Category Management - with, both with operational and strategic focus Your experience includes the (online) trade industry in e-commerce, electronics, IT, technology You could ideally gain experience in the context of the Mobile Devices product group You convince by negotiation strength and success orientation You act proactively and communicate purposefully You have a very good analytical mindset and your tasks are structured You bring knowledge of German and very good English with you
