(Junior) Operations Data Analyst (m/w/d)

Since our founding in 2016, we are now represented as an emergency supply service for beverages and food in almost all of Germany's metropolitan regions. Since 2020, the bottle mail is part of the Oetker Group. To fulfill our mission, we are looking for an Operations Data Analyst (m/w/d). Your evaluations and reports affect the most important decisions in logistics and affect the daily business. You are close to the processes and work closely with different disciplines to advance data-driven optimizations.

You are responsible for the analysis of operational processes and the identification of optimization potentials In close cooperation with Data Science and IT, you develop forecasting models, simulations and ML logics, for example, to precisely predict personnel and tour needs and to control our operational planning data-based

You monitor the impact of optimization measures and make sure that these are sustainable

As an expert:in the field of operations, you prepare logistics data, analyze and visualize them and thus provide the basis for strategic business decisions

You can safely adjust the quality and plausibility of the reporting metrics

You develop new reports and support the Operations team in the processing and visualization of data

You live a “Hands-on” mentality and have fun to advance the bottle mail with your impulses

You have successfully completed your studies of (economic) informatics, mathematics, logistics or a comparable field with a focus on statistics and/or have already collected relevant professional experience in the field of data analytics You have a pronounced affinity for numbers and are able to present your results for different target groups – both visually and verbally – through your analytical and conceptual skills.

You have good knowledge of databases (SQL, Databricks) and ideally have experience with Power BI or comparable tools

Experience with Python and Databricks is also advantageous

You work independently, structured and attach great importance to the quality of your work results

You recognize and understand complex relationships between business processes and various data sources

You speak fluent German and have good English skills
