EMC Expert or Postdoc Architecture & Integration of the Propulsion System (m/f/d)

The research objective of the Architecture and Integration Division of the Drive System (ARA) is to enable the electrification of the drive for aviation applications, from the provision and performance calculation to the integration of drives into the aircraft, to experimental and numerical validation and system synthesis. Your tasks As a scientific expert in EMC, the following tasks await you: Development of scientific foundations and strategic priorities for the electromagnetic compatibility of electrified aeronautical drives reliable and reliable design of electric drive architectures with focus on electromagnetic compatibility, earthing and mass Analysis and simulation of electrified drive systems and their components to investigate electromagnetic disturbances and to validate solutions for mitigation Planning and implementation of experiments in the field of electromagnetic compatibility and experimental validation of mass and earthing concepts Acquisition and management of research projects at national and European level

completed academic studies (Master/ univ. Diploma) of engineering, e.g. in the fields of electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, or other studies relevant to activity Promotion on the subject or equivalent industrial development experience many years of experience and deepened knowledge in the field of electromagnetic compatibility and in the field of electrical power and voltage quality deepened knowledge of theoretical and analytical or numerical investigations of electromagnetic compatibility issues deeper knowledge of the planning and implementation of experiments in the field of electromagnetic compatibility or aeronautical drives relevant professional experience in the preparation and implementation of publicly funded research projects within the national and European framework very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
