IT Database Administrator IoT Systems (m/f/d)

Nothing goes without you – because you plan, implement and operate our database systems for sensor data and telemetry information Your knowledge is in demand – in managing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, MongoDB, InfluxDB) as well as ensuring a highly available and secure data infrastructure You think ahead – with the development and maintenance of backup and recovery strategies as well as the continuous monitoring and performance optimization of our databases You automate processes – through scripting (e.g. Bash, Python) and thus for smooth processes and efficient processes You work together with developers, DevOps teams and Data Engineers as well as our cloud specialists

You bring a successfully completed university study of (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification. You have at least three years of professional experience in the administration of database systems. You have good knowledge of IoT protocols and data structures (e.g. MQTT, JSON, Protobuf). You are familiar with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD processes and database monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana). Experiences in the control and automation area are advantageous. Analytical thinking, a structured way of working and a high problem-solving competence characterize you.
