Welding Engineer (m/w/d)

Material and method selection: fixing of suitable materials and welding methods taking into account component requirements, unit numbers and operating conditions Quality Assurance & Examination: Analysis of mechanical material properties, definition of welding seam qualities according to applicable control mechanisms, ensuring professional implementation of all welding work Interdisciplinary coordination: cooperation with design and production to ensure efficient and consistent welding processes Technical specifications & resource management: formulation of technical specifications for welding design as well as provision of required materials, machines and aids Process analysis & quality management: implementation of process testing, identification of quality-relevant work steps, documentation and optimization of processes Regulatory Compliance & Optimization: Creation of technical specifications in accordance with standards and legal regulations, monitoring of implementation in production Test planning & order coordination: selection of suitable testing methods, determination of the test sequence, coordination and monitoring of external test service providers Documentation & Quality Control: Evaluation and assignment of test results, supplier qualification and monitoring of quality-relevant production processes Training organisation & implementation: organisation and implementation of internal training and welding tests with final evaluation Plant planning & design: Development, planning and realization of technical systems for the production of filter elements and individual components Plant testing & coordination: Close organizational cooperation in investment projects also international Material provision: preparation of practical training documents and proof of training effectiveness by targeted evaluation

Successfully completed studies in manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering or welding technology – ideally with additional qualification as an international welding specialist (SFI / IWE) Qualification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 in levels 1 or 2 for VT desirable Multiannual experience in quality assurance of automated welding equipment (e.g. for measuring heads, adapter rings, stainless steel systems) Knowledge of common welding processes (e.g. WIG, MAG, Laser) Characteristics in the digital production documentation (desirable software Babtec ) Intercultural competence with international production sites Experience with filter elements desirable Versified handling of MS Office German and English skills High level of self-initiative, structured working and strong team orientation
