Projektleiter (m/w)

for the 1-year part-time course “Pflegequalification for Migrants”. The place is to be occupied in part-time with an average of 30 h/W

The course prepares interested persons for work or training in the nursing area and concludes with an external examination for the “Helfer*in in der Pflege” (cooperation with the DRK)

What you expect:

• Social pedagogical advice, support and stabilisation of participants with immigration background
• Support for personal, social and organizational challenges, e.g. in the reconciliation of family, learning, internship and profession
• Crisis intervention, conflict clarification and promotion of self-motivation, independence and liability
• Professional coaching with focus on care, inclusive application training and preparation of application documents for internship, work or training (individually and in the group as teamteaching)
• Cooperation with course management, teachers, department management and external partners as well as participation in team meetings
• Support for the development of realistic professional perspectives and for questions on formal access, recognition and training in the care sector
• Participation in the course setup/ job interviews and follow-up of participants

What distinguishes you:

• Complete study of social education, social work or comparable qualifications and professional experience
• Professional experience in working with adult and/or in education/and consulting work
• Good knowledge of migration, psychosocial counselling, social assistance systems and the labour market (care)
• Intercultural competence, patience and professional handling of affected target groups
• Ability to work independently and to cooperate in the team
• Good IT skills and documentation security
• Knowledge of foreign languages is advantageous, but no requirement
