Regional Manager Maintenance / RME Cluster Manager

Key job responsibilities • Total responsibility for the maintenance teams as well as for all sorting and conveying systems, industrial trucks and building equipment. • Ensure the highest possible availability of all systems and the implementation of modern maintenance approaches such as Condition Based Maintenance (CBM). • Ensure cross-layer fault elimination on all technical systems. • Implementation of all necessary safety standards and a proactive safety culture in the team. • Promoting a permanent development of all team members in the field of hard and soft skills to support the growth of Amazon operations. • Development of concepts for the continuous optimization of all systems according to the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). • Developing strategic decisions. • Management and support of technical Greenfield and Brownfield projects. • Planning and compliance with the maintenance and maintenance budget for the cluster. • Evaluation of relevant KPIs for analysis of technical systems and internal processes. • Strategic management and management of service providers at locations without own RME personnel, as well as ensuring the quality, performance and cost efficiency through effective control of maintenance partners.

Basic qualifications

• Engineering studies or technician studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar courses
• Management experience of maintenance teams
• Multiskilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably with automated systems such as packaging machines, sorting and conveying systems
• Knowledge of modern maintenance concepts (CBM, TPM)
• Teamability and good presentation capability of complex issues in technical maintenance
• Team motivation and commitment: You create a positive working atmosphere with your leadership experience, promote team engagement and develop strategies to increase employee satisfaction
• Good analytical skills and a structured and independent way of working
• Flowing German and very good English skills Preferred qualifications
• Experience in (technical) project management
• Knowledge of maintenance and building equipment of a logistics centre and its maintenance and safety procedures
• Experience with PLC-based control systems

We work together to maintain, repair and troubleshoot the devices in our entire global network of filling centers. Some of our employees are executives who supervise the team at work on exciting, innovative technology – which is partly only available at Amazon. From the installation of automated packaging systems to the supervision of the general maintenance work of a site, as well as the repair of equipment essential to the distribution, our team is developing a large number of technical tasks at Amazon. Among other things, it also ensures that buildings continue to comply with the legal requirements, so that everyone stays safe and our locations are operated with maximum efficiency. All our activities are designed to reduce the downtime at Amazon's most important operating locations so that customers receive their orders in time. We often work early in the morning, late in the evening or in the night shift to carry out maintenance work with the lowest possible disturbances.
