The Schwaben Chamber of Industry and Commerce (public law agency) is the representative of over 140,000 member companies in Bayerisch-Schwaben. Urban and location development: As part of the construction planning, You take a position on current infrastructure projects and thus contribute significantly to the development of an attractive future location. For example, in the field of urban development, you are committed to the concerns of regional retail. Project management: Together with regional companies, you develop projects to strengthen the Bayerisch-Schwaben business location. For example, you contribute significantly to reducing bureaucratic burdens for our member companies. Promotion of the regional economy: You support our member companies in all questions regarding the Bayerisch-Schwaben location. This includes, for example, the preparation of location-relevant key figures. Consultation of interests with Impact: Together with the Corporate Volunteer Office, you create political positions to strengthen the Bayerisch-Schwaben site and represent it to political decision-makers and media. Networking: You maintain contact with regional economic promoters and business associations and develop them through innovative concepts in the sense of the IHK Schwaben. Innovation: You evaluate existing formats and processes in your subject area, develop them actively and develop new, tailor-made support offers for our member companies. Communication with a range: you write informative and practical contributions to the analog and digital media (e.g. LinkedIn, Webinare) of the IHK Schwaben and make sure that you create visibility for your topics.

You have a degree or equivalent professional training, for example in the fields of (economic) geography, political and economics or urban and regional planning. First professional experience or knowledge in the field of construction planning and GIS are of advantage. You pursue economic and political developments and understand the resulting challenges of our member companies. Own-sponsored work with great commitment is just as good a way of expression in word and writing. You think customer-oriented and enjoy supporting companies in a practical and solution-oriented manner. You bring complex facts to the point in a comprehensible way and feel comfortable in exchange with companies, politics and administration.
