As one of the most powerful university clinics in Germany, the UKB combines excellence in medicine and research with excellent teaching. More than half a million patients are provided on the UKB every year. Around 3,500 people study medicine and dentistry, and more than 600 people are trained in health professions every year. With around 9,900 employees, the UKB is the third largest employer in the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg region. In the focus clinical list, the UKB ranks #1 among the university clinics in NRW and has the second highest case-mix index (case-weight) among the university clinics nationwide. In 2024, the UKB was able to purchase nearly €100 million to third-party funding for research, development and teaching. In the fourth year in a row, the F.A.Z. In the Medical Strategy Office of the University Hospital of Bonn, the following office is to be filled in full-time (38,5 hours/week) / part-time:

Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The place must be occupied as a parental leave until 30.09.2027.

The Medical Strategy staff is located directly in the Medical Directorate of the University Hospital. It actively supports the Executive Board in the strategic development and positioning of the clinic. Through close cooperation with clinics, institutes and other business areas, it contributes to sustainably strengthening the medical quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the University Hospital.

Analysis of internal and external health conditions Identification of strategic fields of action and development of targets and key figures Creation of strategy papers and presentations Control of Transboundary Transformation Processes: Integration of new technologies and networking with other healthcare players Strategic support of clinics and institutes Creation of business plans and investment accounts Accompanying the introduction of new medical services Project management and management: Initiation, planning and implementation of strategic projects Control of project teams and resources Close cooperation with business units and staff offices, in particular medical management, controlling, finance, human resources, law and IT

Complete university studies, ideally in the field of health economics, medicine, management or a comparable subject Professional experience in healthcare, ideally in a strategic or project-related function Embossed analytical skills and a structured and solution-oriented way of working Knowledge in strategic planning, project management and handling relevant tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) Communication and enforcement strength and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
