AI & Data Cloud Architect (m/f/d)

You take the lead in defining and developing our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture, with the aim of a holistic, future-oriented and business-oriented target architecture. You advise proactively in the selection of optimal GCP services and solution approaches, always taking into account scalability, performance, security, cost-effectiveness (FinOps) and wartability. You establish architecture guidelines, standards and governance guidelines for sustainable and compliant cloud use. You design and manage cloud migration projects as well as the development of modern GCP platform solutions – from idea to successful productive implementation. You implement architectural concepts together with Cloud Engineers with the help of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and ensure their practical suitability. You continuously opt for existing cloud structures in terms of cost efficiency, information security and architectural standards. You act in interdisciplinary teams, take over the technical (partial) project management as needed and actively shape the results. You are in demand as a specialist and contribute significantly to a reliable, secure and sustainable cloud operation. You develop targeted AI Use Cases and implement them technically.

Complete study of computer science, business informatics or a comparable technical qualification, complemented by multi-year, practical experience in the cloud environment. Expertise in the design and design of modern cloud architectures. Deep understanding of scalable, secure and governance-compliant architecture concepts, from microservices to hybrid cloud approaches. Safe handling of BigQuery, dbt, GitHub, Terraform and comprehensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools. Very good knowledge of a script/programming language (e.g. Python or Go) and the ability to implement architectural concepts independently. Practical experience with monitoring, logging, CI/CD pipelines, FinOps practices as well as sound knowledge about complex network concepts and the construction of highly available system architectures. Deep understanding of cloud governance, compliance, IT security requirements and a strong awareness of economic aspects (cost/scaling models). You convince yourself with your strong consulting skills, communicate complex facts to the address and convincingly fluent in German and English. You are proactive, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial and actively shaping technological decisions.
