In your internship, you will work in the VAN/SPEA (Strategic Project Management for the VAN.xA platform) department, which is responsible and responsible for controlling the overall project of the third generation of our battery-electrically operated vans as well as our future burners. For this reason, for Mercedes-Benz Vans we are looking for a*n intern in the field of project management, who is committed to shaping the future of the van. The Project Management Office (PMO) team is responsible for the planning and management of the entire project. It forms the interface to all departments in the organization. As part of the internship in the PMO team, you will get detailed insights into the activity spectrum of the project management and the VAN product development process. These challenges include: Operational participation in the team

Coordination of individual departments through active thematic management

Implementation and preparation of interdisciplinary bodies and workshops

Compilation of reporting and decision templates for project bodies and management VAN

Development of KPI dashboards

Takeover of special tasks

Ensuring cooperation between departments and locations

The activity can begin from August 2026.

Course in Economic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Business Informatics or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS Office - especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Experience with Power BI desirable

Interest in project management and conceptual work

High level of independence

Individual initiative and communication skills

High operational readiness and reliability in the work design

Automotive affinity and ideally practical experience in project work

Experience in automotive development, project management and strategy development
