We are looking for dedicated professionals for the care of children and young people in a family environment!

Who we are: The h&p Rheinland-Pfalz/Hessen gGmbH is a recognised institution of child and youth assistance. We offer children and young people who cannot grow up in their family of origin a safe home in a stable and reliable environment. Our work is based on the three P’s:

•Partnership with the Youth Office • Partial in the acceptance of young people • Pregnant in pedagogical attitude

Your tasks: • As a pedagogical specialist in an education center, a family group or a special social education family, you can serve children and young people in your own home. They provide them with a structured everyday life, emotional security and intensive social education support. • Forms of care: o Educational institutions: inclusion of 1-2 children or young people in their own household o Family housing groups: care of 3-4 young people in a family-like structure o Special care for children and adolescents with special educational needs that need more intensive support The care key is 1:2, i.e. a pedagogical specialist can provide maximum care for two young people.

Your profile: • Completion as an educator, social pedagogue or comparable qualification • willingness to offer young people a long-term and sustainable relationship • Experience in working with children and young people with special needs • Loadability, empathy and a high level of responsibility • • Openness for regular training, supervision and professional exchange
