One aim of the DKFZ-Hector Krebsinstitut at the University Medicine Mannheim is to improve personalized oncology, i.e. the therapy tailored to the individual patient. In particular, innovative research results are to be quickly brought into clinical application in the form of clinical studies. The institute is headed by Prof. Dr. Sonja Loges.
We are a multidisciplinary team of nurses, documentation assistant:inside, Study Nurses, doctor:inside and looking for support in the form of a Study Nurse. Blood withdrawals in clinical trials and in the study ambulance Sample processing of clinical sample material Organisation and monitoring of treatment processes and study protocols (e.g. scheduling, registration and planning of diagnostic studies etc.) Participation in screening and inclusion of students: Intensive care and counselling for patients: during the study participation Data collection and study documentation in German and English Preparation and implementation of monitor visits, audits and, where appropriate, Inspections Separate implementation of treatment care measures (e.g. blood pressure measurement, administration of infusions incl. chemotherapy under medical supervision etc.) Also welcome cooperation and critical review in the preparation of future study protocols Structural cooperation in the study centre
