The “Development Platforms” department is one of six strategic units within the Corporate IT area “Digital Experience Platforms” and is responsible for implementing central IT platforms for software development for all divisions and corporate functions worldwide. The focus is on the complete application management for all ZEISS divisions and their customers, partners and agencies. Maintenance and development of an existing InfoSec dashboard solution

Development of REST APIs to integrate different security data sources

Create interactive dashboards to visualize security metrics and KPIs

Connection and integration of security tools and external data sources

Implementation of authentication and authorization mechanisms

Optimization of data flows and ETL processes

Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality

Cooperation with InfoSec teams to implement technical requirements

Studies in the field of computer science or comparable practical experience

Experience in full-stack web development

Good knowledge in a backend language (e.g. Python, Java, C# or Node.js)

Experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue or Angular)

Secure handling of SQL databases and REST APIs

Basic knowledge of Git and Container Technologies (Docker)

Interest in or experience in IT security / Cybersecurity

Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard development

Experience with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO)

Ability to work into existing code bases

Analytical thinking and solution-oriented work

Good knowledge of German and English
