Project Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

You control and optimize all purchase-relevant activities in customer projects (m/w/d) from project start to end of warranty. You are responsible for achieving the Purchasing Goals (Quality, Cost, Date) and you will start the associated reporting as well as the procurement planning. You are actively involved in cross-functional project teams (m/w/d) and are co-ordinating with the subproject manager (m/w/d) procurement. You independently initiate measures to reduce costs and avoid delays in delivery. You ensure the compliance of the product group strategy with the suppliers (m/w/d) permitted by the customer (w/m/d) as well as the fulfillment of customer service requirements (m/w/d). You support project management through KPI evaluation and advance the further development of the procurement process. You create project-specific purchase contracts (back‐to-back from customer contracts, m/w/d) and ensure that the project management is integrated in the awarding committee.

You have a completed university degree in economics, economic engineering or a comparable qualification. Your technical and commercial understanding allows you to identify the needs and processes of the upstream and downstream departments. You have well-founded methodological knowledge, especially in project management, as well as knowledge of procurement markets and strategies. You are characterized by a high sense of enforcement and responsibility as well as a strong self-motivation to achieve your goals. In dynamic and stressful project phases, you always keep an overview and can communicate complex facts clearly and understandably across all hierarchy levels. You work independently, result-oriented, analytical and bring negotiation skills, persuasiveness as well as a high team orientation – in addition, very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing are prerequisites. Ideally, you have first professional experience in strategic purchasing and project work, are ready for national and international business trips and, if available, bring industry-specific experience.
