Your way to success As Senior Risk Controller (m/w/d) with the focus on model validation, you play a central role in ensuring the robustness and compliance of our risk models. Your tasks include the implementation of MaRisk AT 4.1 and AT 4.3.5 requirements. Your tasks as Senior Risk Controller (m/w/d) in detail: Leading responsibility for the independent model validation of risk models (e.g. credit risk, market price risk, operational risk models) according to the requirements of the MaRisk, in particular AT 4.1 (risk carrying capacity) and BT 4.3.5 (use of models). Conceptual development and implementation of a robust methodology for model validation, including the definition of validation standards, processes and tools. Creation of detailed validation reports with sound analyses, evaluation of model quality, identification of vulnerabilities and derivation of concrete recommendations for action for management, departments and supervisory authorities. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (in particular KWG, MaRisk) in the field of model validation and risk management. Active cooperation in the development of the internal control system (IKS) with regard to the governance and control of risk models. Continuous monitoring of model performance by back testing, sensitivity analyses and stress tests as well as the initiation of necessary adjustments. Close cooperation with the model developers and users to critically interrogate model assumptions and to ensure the implementation of validation results. Development and maintenance of internal guidelines and work instructions for the model validation process. Presentation of validation results in relevant bodies and local risk committees.
