In your new position, you are responsible for ensuring the delivery and performance of critical suppliers – even under challenging conditions. Your tasks include carrying out complex projects for the development of suppliers, in particular in cases of quality defects or delivery bottlenecks. Ad-hoc applications are frequently required on site. They actively network with internal stakeholders (such as design, procurement, project management and product development) to ensure smooth cooperation. In addition, create and maintain performance indicators for suppliers in the areas of quality, delivery, complaint, innovation and sustainability. You will check offers, work with you when comparing offers and agree closely with the adjacent specialist areas. Another focus of your activity is the identification, validation and qualification of potential new suppliers in line with the purchasing strategy of the NVL. They plan and conduct cross-disciplinary supplier reviews and audits and follow the resulting measures. In addition, you collect and evaluate specific factors of supplier risk management and define and follow appropriate risk mitigation measures. As a service for the entire NVL group, you carry out works and audits. In addition, check the inventory suppliers with regard to compliance with regulatory requirements, such as the Supply Chain Care Folding Code (LkSG).

Successfully completed, technical studies in the field of mechanical engineering, marine engineering, electrical engineering or comparable training Reliable professional experience in the above-mentioned field, alternatively also possible in the field of production, planning and construction of an industrial company Experience in classic and agile project management Knowledge about Lean / Six Sigma are beneficial Handling MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems as well as fluent German and English skills Increased readiness Structured and targeted working with technical expertise, creative solutions and the ability to work quickly into new topics High self-motivation, enforcing strength and joy of decision in challenging situations
