We are looking for Referent:in Representations of Interest & Business (m/w/d)

What is it about? In this position, you significantly shape the relationship between employers and works council bodies – strategic, advisory and operational. The focus of your activity is mainly on working with the works councils and supporting operational functions in the legally secure design of collective processes. You are not a classic HRBP role, but you act as a central respondent and internal consultant:in all business constitutional issues. You work closely with executives, HR, management and external departments. You are involved in collective regulations, contributing to conflict prevention and creating resilient structures for cooperative management – with great importance for the entire organization. The position can be exercised at one of our distribution sites – ideally in Duisburg, Günzburg (Region Ulm), Wunstorf (Region Hannover) or Neu Wulmstorf (Region Hamburg). A regular presence of about three days a week on site is desirable.

Your tasks

• Development and implementation of a sustainable strategy for the management of the works council bodies
• Advising executives in all matters of cooperation with works councils, especially in negotiations and in conflict situations
• Support in the negotiation and implementation of operating agreements with legal and economic wide-sightedness
• Development and implementation of targeted training on BetrVG, labour law and best practices
• Heading or co-operation in projects related to collective law
• Support and support of all formal votes with the works council (monthly talks, committee meetings etc.)
• Creation, testing and maintenance of legally binding documents and agreements
• Development and implementation of standardized processes for cooperation with employee representatives
• Interface management between management, HR and works councils to ensure constructive cooperation

What you bring

• Study of law, economic law, labour law or a comparable qualification (e.g. as a paralegal, personal businessman with legal expertise)
• Foundation knowledge of labour law, in particular in the right of establishment
• Experience in cooperation with works councils and/or in the management of negotiations
• Embossed communication and negotiation skills in dealing with different stakeholders
• Structured and solution-oriented mode of operation, analytical thinking
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Easy travel within our locations
