In doing so, you actively shape strategic and operational processes, promote a lived security culture in the company and ensure compliance with all legal and internal requirements. Takeover of overall responsibility for occupational and health protection in accordance with ASiG and ArbSchG Advising management in defining and implementing long-term occupational safety objectives and their integration into existing management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) Implementation and monitoring of hazard assessments, safety and risk assessments Development and implementation of effective prevention measures to promote a living safety culture Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations in the field of work and environmental protection Preparation and monitoring of internal and external audits as well as compiling meaningful reports and key figures analyses Coordination and continuous development of environmental and hazardous materials management, including maintenance of the list of dangerous substances and the creation of practical operating instructions Coordination and coordination with external and internal interfaces (e.g. Professional Cooperatives, Office for Industrial Protection) to ensure safe and sustainable working conditions

Complete technical or scientific studies, for example in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, environmental engineering or a comparable qualification Additional qualification for the occupational safety specialist (m⁠/ ⁠w⁠/⁠d) Knowledge of working, health and environmental law and hazardous materials management Multiannual professional experience in the field of occupational safety, environmental or safety management, ideally in the plastics processing industry Experience in audit preparation, reporting and interface coordination Analytical thinking, organizational design and proactive problem solving competence Communication strength and a secure, convincing appearance in the team
