In the Nuremberg Clinic we offer not only top medicine, but also rooms where children and young people are seen, strengthened and accompanied. As a social pedagogue/social pedagogue (m/w/d) in our child and youth psychiatry, you are part of a multi-professional team that uses heart, mind and professional expertise to support young people in difficult stages of life.

The employment is limited to one year, with the chance to gain valuable experience in a unique working environment and actively shape it.

Tasks:

• Educational support and support for children and young people during their hospital stay
• Planning and implementation of group offers as well as creative and everyday activities
• Individual discussions to strengthen resources, self-confidence and social skills
• Cooperation in the multi-professional team (doctors, psychologists, nurses, therapists)
• Integration and counselling of parents or Members in the treatment process
• Support for reintegration in school, family and social environment

Requirements:

• Complete study of social education or social work or a comparable qualification
• Joy in working with children and young people in challenging situations of life
• High social competence, sensitivity and resilience
• Team spirit and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
• readiness to adapt flexibly to different needs
• Ideally, first experience in the psychiatric or clinical environment (no need – professional entry is also welcome)
