Our day care center “Himmelszelt” is centrally located in the city centre of Karlsruhe, close to the market square. In our institution, we serve up to 36 children from 2 to 6 years of age in two groups. We offer full-day care as well as care with extended opening hours.

A special focus of our educational work is the workshop work in an age-mixed group. Our rooms are designed as diverse educational areas, including garden, movement building, reading corner, studio, research workshop, second level, building master workshop as well as various role play areas such as apartment, theatre or ice cream parlour.

The individual workshops are flexibly divided into smaller areas of work, which are oriented towards the current interests, spontaneous activities and the development of children. In this way we create an exciting environment where children of all ages become self-active, research, design, and let their imagination run freely.

Your tasks:

• They accompany children attentively and sensitively in their self-education and development processes
• Design and develop the quality of pedagogical work continuously together with the team

Your profile:

• They have a Christian and value-adding basic attitude and meet children with care and affection
