International Order Processing Clerk (m/f/d)

As part of the transfer of employees, we are looking for you as a specialist (m/w/d) International order processing in full time (40 hours) for our client in Cologne. It expects long-term use in an internationally successful industrial company with a concrete perspective on taking over into an indefinite permanent position.

Processing of national and international customer orders - from order acquisition in the SAP system to appointment control, to invoice and shipping coordination. Organisation and control of the entire export and shipping process including the creation of all necessary export, customs and foreign trade documents, as well as communication with customers, forwarders and authorities. Ensure compliance with customs and external economic rules and close cooperation with internal departments, customs authorities and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). Editing demanding export, customs and external economic issues in close cooperation with the central customs and foreign trade organisation and internal specialist areas to ensure legally compliant and efficient international supply and foreign trade processes. Processing of tasks in the field of commodity origin & preferences, in particular the examination of declarations of delivery, the implementation of preferential calculation, the preparation and examination of proof of preferences and the application of international free trade agreements.

You have successfully completed commercial training, for example as an industrial businessman (m/w/d), forwarding businessman (m/w/d), merchant (m/w/d) for forwarding and logistics services, merchant (m/w/d) for wholesale and foreign trade management or a comparable qualification. You provide several years of professional experience in export processing as well as a well-founded knowledge in international order processing, customs and foreign trade law as well as in the production of export-relevant documents. In addition, you have first experience in the field of commodity origin & preferences, as well as knowledge in the handling of supplier declarations, proof of preference, preferential calculations and the application of free trade agreements. You want to continuously expand your expertise in this challenging specialty. Also in complex export and customs processes, you keep an overview and convince by a strong understanding of international supply chains as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working. The secure handling of SAP as well as the current MS Office applications is of course for you. You have very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing and are confident in the international business environment.
