The aim is to provide a person who can competently represent the subject of denomination in research and teaching in the courses of the Department of Economics and Social Affairs. The department offers business or management-oriented bachelor and master's courses in presence, online and dual form. Our expectation linked to the professorship is an enrichment of teaching and research by driving the design and optimization of operational information systems as an integrated interaction between humans, organization and information technology for efficient support and digitalization of operational processes and decisions.

The recruitment requirements for professors are governed by § 25 Niedersächsisches Universitätsgesetz (NHG): a completed university degree the special ability to intensify independent scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by an above-average doctorate special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, of which at least three years have been carried out outside the higher education sector by practical experience confirmed pedagogical-didactic suitability A completed university course in business administration, business information, computer science or a related discipline is assumed.

You have professional experience in the use and design of operational information systems as drivers of digital transformation.

The ability and willingness to conduct courses in German and English is assumed. You are ideally brought with: a doctoral topic related to denomination Willingness and experience in application-oriented research and in the development and transfer projects in the above-mentioned field Experience with the use of digital teaching and learning forms

Conception and implementation of courses in the field of denomination, both for larger groups and for project-oriented small groups in presence and online education Building and expanding the contact with cooperating companies/organisations/organisations Activities in research at the Jade University Further development of courses in the field of business and society Working in international cooperation and in academic self-government Participation in obtaining and consulting students
