We are looking for the waste industry Stuttgart (AWS) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The posts must be occupied without delay.

The AWS employs around 1,000 employees in the headquarters on Stöckach and at various locations throughout the city. The road cleaning department with winter service and public toilet facilities takes care of road cleaning around the clock during shift operation, including the emptying of paper baskets and underground collection points as well as special cleaning. In addition, it is responsible for the operation and maintenance of currently 75 public toilets as well as for the winter service on roads, walking and cycling routes, also in shift operation 24/7. About 350 employees work in this department. The locations are assigned to different operating locations.

A job that enthuses you

• They carry and operate special vehicles of the AWS with a permissible total weight of more than 16 tons, which, depending on the field of use, have different structures (e.g. sweeping machine, winter service and waste collection vehicle)
• They carry out maintenance on the vehicles according to requirements, exchange brooms, etc. to sweeping machines and take care of small pieces

A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

Your profile that suits us

• completed schooling and/or vocational training (proposal for a state recognition of foreign qualifications)
• Driving practice of at least one year as a driver/in of vehicles with at least one 7,5 tonnes of zGG or proven driving practice in a municipal establishment
• at least. Driving license class C, CE of advantage (the submission of a copy of the driving licence is required in the application)
• current and at least one year valid further training according to BKrFQG – before. Paragraph 95 or new driver qualification certificate (certification is required for the application)
• good knowledge of German in word and writing
• valid ADR and instruction according to TRGS520 desirable
• readiness for shiftwork and the associated weekend work
