The Office for Information and Communication Technology operates the central urban communication infrastructure (data centers, data network) for the city administration of Frankfurt am Main with a variety of central services (e.g. mail services, web hosting, Internet gateway) and city-wide services (e.g. collaboration platforms, website, document management system). Through the continuous expansion of the online service offered by the city of Frankfurt am Main, it makes a significant contribution to the digitalization of the administration in this context. With the establishment of the AI competence team, our client wants to further advance the AI initiatives and is now looking for a:n AI architect:in (w/m/d).

Full time, part-time EGr. 14 TVöD (78.308 € to 97.040 € annual gross, depending on professional experience)

Design of AI/ML platforms taking into account existing framework conditions (governance requirements, security, scalability and interoperability; close coordination with IT architecture, data protection and compliance) Development, establishment and maintenance of standards and guidelines for the use of AI in urban administration (data models, APIs/events, quality and safety requirements, monitoring, operation, open source strategy, supplier evaluation) Participation in AI projects from the consultation process to the piloting process, to the production and operational operation, to ensure the technical discovery and smooth integration into existing administrative processes active participation in the development of the urban IT strategy with a focus on AI Preparation of presentations, decision templates and communication materials for specialist committees, management level and stakeholders Head of interdisciplinary teams

completed, scientific university studies (Master / Bachelor) in the field of (economic) informatics with long-term professional experience or comparable discipline with long-term, relevant professional experience in IT organizations with the operation of central IT systems very good knowledge of AI technologies and many years of experience in the development of IT solution landscapes many years of experience in common standards of IT and project management Knowledge of common architecture frameworks and modelling languages, such as TOGAF or ArchiMate Ability to lead employees (refer to participation in training events or qualification measures for leadership tasks are a prerequisite) or experience in the overarching responsibility as a process manager:r (Process-Owner:in) Experience in governance and compliance desirable solution-oriented operation Strength of decision and sense of responsibility Persistent Gender competence structured, independent, careful and reliable operation very good written and oral expressability, safe and binding occurrence pronounced problem solving skills and fun at work in interdisciplinary teams strong team capability Innovation will and strength combined with a very strong self-initiative and self-motivation awareness of diversity, diversity and equality intercultural competence
