The Wahnbachtalsperrenverband (WTV) supplies drinking water for around 800,000 people in the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg/Ahr region. Around 230 specialized employees of a wide variety of professional groups are involved in water production, drinking water processing and distribution, administration and water and soil protection. Your duties

• Maintenance and repair work with focus on dam
• Maintenance of corrosion-protection coatings on machines, pipelines and fittings, as well as water-engineering systems and equipment of water extraction and treatment plants
• State controls at the dam construction and at facilities of dam and reservoir including green care and free-cutting work (talc barrier, pre-basin, etc.), concrete works etc.
• Cleaning, transport and hoisting by means of industrial trucks, cranes and lifting platforms in installations of water production

This will bring you

• Completed craftsmanship, preferably in the field of painter/painting
• readiness to carry out diverse activities from different trades and to develop accordingly
• readiness for training "Fachkunde Stauanlagen" according to DWA
• Willingness to train motorboats and work on waterborne vehicles and facilities
• Knowledge of appropriate processing and material selection for permanent coatings in humid environments as well as the requirements for materials in contact with drinking water
• Self-employed and responsible work by instruction and work plan
• Embossed team skills
• Class 3 and BE
