Conducting electron microscopy including energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and sample preparation and administration troubleshooting, testing and maintenance of the electron microscope and other laboratory equipment Instruction of users in basic image analysis Participation in procedures for fulfilling safety-relevant regulations Refilling documentation obligations Communication with external companies and service providers in relation to repairs, orders, service visits, etc.

Successfully completed training as MTA, BTA, CTA Experience in preparing samples for electron microscopy and knowledge of the principles and methods of electron microscopy Knowledge in the field of energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) is advantageous Confidence with common office software (MS Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat etc.) Willingness to learn professionally Very good knowledge of English and German (orally and in writing) in B2 level
