Location: Hamburg Type of employment: Full-time

Purpose and objective We are looking for committed plant mechanic / pipe locker (m/w/d).

In this position you take over the assembly and laying of pipe systems on board modern ships and make an important contribution to the production of sophisticated maritime systems.

Your activities:

• Installation and installation of pipes and piping systems on board
• Conducting pipe pressure tests
• Production of auxiliary constructions for production and assembly
• Application of test and measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Assembly of components for the preparation of welding work
• Compliance with applicable quality, work and safety regulations

What we want from you: (m/w/d), plant mechanic (m/w/d) or a comparable technical qualification

• Ready for use on board as well as in tight spaces and tanks
• Ideally experience with ship operating systems
• knowledge of shipbuilding standards and relevant standards in pipe construction are advantageous
• Basic knowledge of WIG and MIG welding of steel and stainless steel are desirable
• Ideally qualified as crane guide for flur-controlled cranes
• readiness and suitability for a safety review (Ü2)
• Self-employed and structured work

• Teamability and good communication skills
