Case-by-case coding of stationary and semi-stationary treatments Review of the appropriate and complete documentation of the course of treatment in the medical file Formal and content review of §301 data before conclusion of the case Case conclusion in agreement with the cod-responsible doctor: inside Creation of medical reasons for health insurance requests in consultation with the doctor responsible: Duration control Monitoring, documentation and, if necessary, execution of MD visits Training of doctors: female and nurses based on MD results Introduction to higher-level topics of the medical controller, e.g. performance groups, structural checks and MD management

Completed training as a nurse, health care and nursing:in, medical:r Completed training for medical coding power at least one-year, ideally multiannual activity as a clinical coding specialist or in DRG management Funded knowledge and safe application of the ICD-10-GM, OPS and the German Code Directives, as well as the case study agreement on the German DRG system Safe user knowledge in handling hospital information systems (e.g. M-KIS, SAP, Amondis), MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and coding software (e.g. Damedic, Kodip) Medical understanding and understanding of relationships in clinical structures Analytical thinking and organizational skills Reliability and a high degree of self-initiative and self-employment Strong communication in the team and in interdisciplinary cooperation
