Specialist in Internal Medicine Previous knowledge of haematolgoia (w/m/d)

In addition to the morphological diagnostics of blood and bone marrow preparations, immunophenotyping is carried out in our special laboratory using flow cytometry. In close cooperation with the human genetic laboratory, molecular biological diagnosis (chromosome analysis, FISH, molecular genetics) takes place.

Consultation of senders with regard to diagnostics and therapy Assessment of cytomorphologies Evaluation and interpretation of immunophenotyping Interdisciplinary findings with human genetics Evaluation and introduction of new methods and devices

Recognition as a specialist (w/m/d) for hematology or for internal medicine with focus on hematology and oncology Knowledge of the microscopy of blood, ideally also bone marrow smears. Knowledge of or interest in flow cytometry from peripheral blood and bone marrow Diagnosis of haematological system diseases according to the current WHO classification Characteristics of differential diagnosis in malignant B‐, T‐ and NK-cell lymphomas, acute and chronic leukaemias and plasma cell diseases Interest in quality assurance measures in laboratory diagnostics very good knowledge of German in word and writing
