We are looking for an experienced consultant / engineer (m/w/d) on a senior or principal position with many years of experience in the field of land and sea cable technology to strengthen our “Power Cable” team. DNV is expanding its asset management activities. A driving factor is the continuous expansion of wind farms and of partially cross-border power lines in which land cables and sea cables play a decisive role. Various topics are dealt with, from quality-related aspects during the planning and approval phase, in the context of production and installation monitoring to fault analysis during the operation of the cable systems. As a senior or principal consultant / senior/principal engineer for land and sea cable technology, you will become part of the “Power Cable” team in the field of “Asset Management & Digital System Operation” within “PowerGrids”. Together with your colleagues, you support our customers in achieving sustainable, first-class asset management processes and services. You will offer engineering and consulting services for customers in the supply industry, mainly in Germany, with the opportunity to participate in projects worldwide. You take responsibility for the management, implementation and acquisition of projects in the field of cable technology. In doing so, you take back your already existing deep understanding of the market and link the knowledge with the DNV view. As a result, you deliver high-quality results for our customers.

You report to the headquarters of the Energy Division in Arnhem, Netherlands. However, your focus is on the German market, starting from the German office in Dresden. The salary for a senior position is in stages 8 or 9 (exclusive of a 15-stage salary model) and is agreed based on the “DNV Germany salary frame” as well as your experience and qualification. The grade for a principal position is set in levels 10 or 11 and is also set on the basis of the “DNV Deutschland salary frame” as well as your experience and skills. You will be offered a full-time job with unlimited contract. We are looking for a colleague or colleague who brings with him or her profound knowledge in the field of energy cables and is able to develop and maintain good relationships with our customers, such as network operators, power plants and industries.
