Employee as a specialist for waste tracking systems in nuclear decommissioning (m/f/d)

As a specialist (m/w/d) for waste tracking systems, you design the digital basis for safe and transparent waste management logistics in a highly sensitive environment. Your work in the residual tracking system (ReVs) system ensures complete traceability of all radioactive residues and thus make an essential contribution to nuclear safety. With the structured documentation of measurement data, transport operations and processing steps, you create confidence in the processes and enable seamless testing by external bodies. You take care of the careful installation of dismantling displays, plant pads and packaging cards and thus ensure the smooth running within the processing chain. In coordination with the operational teams, you create and confirm transport orders and document the radiological characteristics – precisely, on time and in compliance with the rules.

You have completed training for radiation protection workers (m/w/d) or technical training – e.g. as a mechatronic, electronic, industrial mechanic or chemical laboratory – with recognised additional qualification in radiation protection. A further development of the technician in the field of environmental technology, process technology or radiation protection is also a suitable basis. You bring first practical experience in dealing with documentation-based processes in safety-relevant work environments – ideally you have already worked with the ReVS system. In addition, you have a sound technical understanding of waste management processes and their digital imaging, especially in the interaction of IT systems and logistics-related processes. A structured and careful way of working as well as a strong sense of responsibility in dealing with sensitive data and radioactive substances are your own professional understanding.
