As a strong social partner of the Deutsche Bahn, the BSW & EWH family of foundations accompanies their employees and their families in all phases of life, in particular in challenging working and living conditions. We help socially disadvantaged people. We manage emergency and crisis situations. We promote and maintain health. People across Germany support the foundation family and benefit from their advisory services. In addition to the headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, the Germany-wide service offices and the travel center in Augsburg and service center in Schwerin, hotels and apartments are also operated throughout Germany. With about 200,000 members and 550 employees for the good cause – this is the BSW & EWH foundation family. For the project “Bahn-Streetwork” in the Rhine-Main area, we are looking for a motivated, looking social advisor (w/m/d) in full time for about 2 years. There may be the possibility of further employment. In 2025, our project “Bahn-Streetwork” started – an initiative of the foundation family to support local train workers in challenging living situations. The aim is to identify train workers in need of assistance through mobile, seeking social work and to accompany them through low-swelling advice, to identify concrete support needs and to provide access to appropriate offers and services. The close networking with relevant partners within the railway and the foundation family plays a central role – for example with works councils, executives, social and addiction counselling, sales, diversity & integration as well as addiction and depression helpers. Particular attention is paid to operational work areas of the Deutsche Bahn with high load. .
