Tasks

• Leading scientific work in application-related research projects, mainly with a reference to (industrial) communication technology and IT security
• Implementation of courses (practice and exercises) in Bachelor and Master's degree courses in German and English
• Support in the supervision of final work (Bachelor and/or Master)
• Support/maintenance of laboratory operation
• Care for trainees (manufacturer) and dual students
• Support for the implementation of scientific conferences
• Support for Institute and Department IT

Your profile

You bring with

• A successfully completed academic study of electrical engineering, (technical) computer science or related courses
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• High affinity for IT, with first experience in the administration of Windows or Linux server systems or in the administration of network infrastructures based on freely configurable hardware (e.g. Cisco)
• willingness to participate in IT-specific further education, such as CCNA
• Interest in questions of IT security and communication technology, in particular in the fields of (industrial) networked technical systems
• readiness to participate in trade fairs and scientific conferences
• willingness to participate in internal and external events
