Lead System Developer SAP Business Partner (m/f/d)

You shape the technical development of the SAP Business Partner in the SAP S/4HANA environment and take responsibility for architecture, integration design and technical quality. For partner data processes, interfaces and integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP-close systems and non-SAP applications (e.g. via REST, Kafka, SAP BTP), you develop innovative target images and technical concepts. The presentation of architectural decisions in the team as well as the evaluation of technology options (e.g. Core vs. Side-by-Side extension on BTP) are complemented by the preparation of decision bases for Product Owner, Architecture and Stakeholder, and soar for sustainable technical solutions. You drive the development of modern connectivity via REST APIs, Kafka/Event Streaming and SAP BTP and define standards for integration patterns, security, observability and wartability in the BP environment. In cooperation with specialist departments, Product Ownern, SAP-based, integration platforms, non-SAP teams and external partners, you are implementing technical requirements in robust technical solutions. The consideration and anchoring of data protection, IT security, compliance and operating requirements in architecture, implementation and operation are ensured from the outset. You accompany migrations, modernizations and interface adjustments during the further development of the S/4HANA landscape and the distributed business partner model (CVI, BP-FI/FSCD links). The establishment of standards for development, testing, monitoring, documentation and operation in the SAP BP context is an active step forward and coaches developers in the team towards technical excellence. The analysis of complex disturbances, performance and data quality problems in end-to-end processes connects you with the derivation of structural improvements for applications and interfaces.

Complete study of (economic) informatics, engineering sciences or comparable training in the IT sector as well as many years of practical experience in the SAP environment. Long-standing experience in the development and technical responsibility of complex SAP solutions with focus on S/4HANA and integration architectures. Very good knowledge of ABAP/ABAP-OO as well as interfaces and integration patterns (BAdIs, OData, BAPIs, IDocs, REST, Messaging/Event Streaming with Kafka), safe handling of S/4HANA-specific technologies (CDS, OData), and experience with SAP BTP and cloud topics are desirable. Experience in the design of BP target images, standards and governance rules (roll logic, data quality, roll separation, logging) and their implementation in the team. Leadership in technical questions: moderation of architectural decisions, coaching other developers, establishing best practices in development, testing and operation. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least C1).
