You take responsibility for the strategic planning, design and further development of the specialist procedures, ensure smooth operation and high availability of self-managed laboratory information technology, optimize the IT services offered, in particular in the areas of server and client operation, storage systems and data backup, are an important interface, both internally to the professional staff in the working groups and to the central IT service provider of the FHH, support the IT infrastructure and IT projects of the area in cooperation with our specialist departments.

Required a higher education degree (bachelor or equivalent) in the field of computer science, business informatics or administrative informatics or a comparable field of study or equivalent skills and experience, each with at least 3 years of practical experience in tasks of the enrolled entity on a bachelor level (in the public service from the ECR 10 case group 1) or completed training in a recognized IT profession (e.g. Specialist informatics, IT system businesswoman or system businessman, computer science manager Computer science businessman) or equivalent skills and experience, each with 5 years of relevant professional experience in areas of responsibility of the enrolled entity, of which at least 3 years have practical experience in tasks of the enrolled entity on the Bachelor level (in public service from EGr. 10 case group 1) Advantages sound knowledge in laboratory information systems (LIMS) as well as in the operation of server, database, network and client infrastructures very good knowledge of technical computer science, in particular in the field of IT basic services and network technologies practical experience in the areas of desktop virtualization, IT security as well as in the operation of highly available and distributed systems (clusters, load balancing) Experience in the introduction and operation of new software solutions and in IT project management strong interest in current IT technologies and their economically meaningful application
