Junior Precious Metals Trader (m/f/d)

In your role as Junior Precious Metals Trader (m/w/d), you are responsible for the continuous monitoring and analysis of precious metal markets for identifying trends and trading opportunities. You support the development and implementation of trade and price strategies in close coordination with the trading and sales teams. You are also responsible for carrying out and handling spot transactions in gold, silver, platinum and palladium, including booking and invoice. The ongoing monitoring and control of open trading positions as well as support in risk and margin management is one of your tasks. You are responsible for the calculation and analysis of premiums, margins and financing costs to ensure profitability. Last but not least, you are responsible for the maintenance, analysis and management of trade data and support in the optimization of trading processes and systems.

Complete studies in the field of business management, economy, finance, economic mathematics or a comparable subject First practical experience in trading, treasury, banking or commodity trade (e.g. through internships or student work) Basic understanding of financial markets and interest in precious metals and macroeconomic contexts Analytical and Pay-Affinity Thinking with High Accuracy and Great Responsibility Secure handling of MS Excel and ideally first knowledge in SAP Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, other languages of advantage High readiness for learning, self-initiative and structured and reliable operation Teamability and communication strength in handling internal and external contacts
