You take care of our animals. They design cradles and assist in new and remodeling of animals. They monitor the health of the animals. They carry out animal employment and (medical) animal training. They are responsible for the knowledgeable and economical handling of feed and work equipment. They prepare transports and accompany them. They perform commentary show feedings, take guided tours and participate in events. They work in public relations.

They have a successfully completed training as a zoo animal nurse (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) or a comparable training. You can provide several years of relevant professional experience. They ideally have the driving licence of the driving class B and ideally have a proof of transportation. They show willingness to late services and weekend and holiday work. They are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, flexibility in terms of working time, team skills and visitor orientation. They ideally have a good technical understanding and craftsmanship. They are practiced in free speech and show willingness to carry out guided tours of visitor groups on animal garden biological topics. They have good German language skills in word and writing.
