Team Oetker Group Data Protection: The Oetker Group Data Protection team is responsible for the implementation and further development of data protection within the entire Oetker Group. In its data protection organization, the Oetker Group pursues a “Three lines of defense” model. Data protection coordinators in various group companies form the “First line of defense” and are responsible for operational advice and compliance in the area of data protection for their respective companies. The Oetker Group Data Protection team forms the “Second line of defense” and is responsible for the topic of data protection at group level. The team standardizes data protection requirements within the Oetker Group, identifies synergies in the cooperation of the data protection coordinators and advises on (primary legal) individual questions. The Oetker Group Data Protection team also represents the data protection officer of the Oetker Group. Finally, the group-wide audit team forms the independent “Third line of defense”.

You actively shape the development of the Group-wide data protection team of the Oetker Group and support the Group data protection officer in a variety of tasks You advise data protection coordinators and business areas of the Oetker Group, in particular in the application of data protection regulations, such as the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, in a data-driven environment You support our Group companies with guidelines, recommendations and data protection expertise You support group-wide cooperation and contribute to the establishment of a sustainable compliance culture You manage legal management systems such as our data protection (risk) management system

You have successfully completed a degree in law, economic law or a comparable legal subject and have at least two years of professional experience in data protection You have a well-founded knowledge of data protection law, experience with contract processing contracts and other data-related legal issues as well as a high affinity for IT topics You work successfully with different stakeholders, prepare complex legal issues in a comprehensible way and convince by strong communication and presentation skills Ideally, you have experiences in the FMCG industry as well as certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM or comparable qualifications, but this is not a must You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
