ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements. Your duties We are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager Microoptics (m/w/x) for holographic solutions in the automotive and consumer sectors with the following tasks: Together with the team, you are responsible for the ecosystem of partners and suppliers focusing on optical technologies, plant technology and process automation

You take responsibility for the development and implementation of partnership strategies incl. the promotion of cross-supplier initiatives and work closely with internal teams to achieve the goals of the company

You are the interface between internal technology teams and our existing and new strategic partners. New potentials will be built up and existing cooperations will be maintained as needed

You analyze technology trends, guide action recommendations and support the implementation into the team, as You bring the right people and partners together and actively create synergies along the entire value chain

You work on contractual frameworks and their design with present our innovative products and processes at the customer's premises and at trade fairs/events

Complete studies of economics/engineering or in a related discipline

Long-standing professional experience in business development, key account management or customer/supplier management

Experience in technology management for engineering and supplier management in the B2B, also in cross-Company and cross-supplier programs

High expertise and deep technical understanding in the fields of optical technologies and/or mechanical engineering and Automation technology

Practical experience in the complaint and problem-solving process with 8D-report, Ishikawa and Root-Cause methods as well as familiarity with the automotive core tools: PPAP, APQP, SPC, FMEA, MSA

Analytical, Structured, Result-Orientated and Self-Operation and Strength of Persuasion

Professional handling with customers: inside combined with very good negotiation skills in contracting (in German and in English)

Excellent communication skills and German and English (further foreign language of advantage), especially in the intercultural context

High readiness for national and international missions
