For our Competence Center Data Center and Networks we are looking for a dedicatedn network administratorin. In this position, you will ensure the safe, stable and modern operation of our network and firewall infrastructure and thus support the digital management of the Hanover region.

Strategic planning and optimization of the LAN and firewall infrastructure Advice on the design and extension of network and security architectures Operation and development of integrated network and firewall monitoring Implementation of security measures (e.g. NAC, Segmentation, Firewall Policies) Automation and documentation of network and firewall processes Responsibility for lifecycle and patch management of all network and firewall components Editing tickets in 2nd level support

Complete IT training (e.g. specialist in system integration) or comparable qualification Knowledge in the administration of LAN infrastructures and routing and switching Experience in dealing with next generation firewalls (fortinet for example) Safe handling of network protocols and security solutions (e.g. NAC, Network Security, firewall policies) Experience in the use of monitoring tools as well as common network services (e.g. DNS, DHCP) Representative team and communication skills as well as consulting skills Comparable qualifications can also meet the requirements.
