Uniper creates a one-stop shop technology platform for all spatial data and applications in the field of renewable energies and in the further COO range. As a Senior GIS Manager, you are a trusted advisor to our colleagues and support them in defining and implementing Geospatial Business Solutions with a strong focus on applications and workflows in the field of renewable energies. You evaluate and translate requirements, business goals and strategies in geodata functions and solutions that meet the company's requirements and provide added value to our stakeholders.

• Head of the implementation and configuration of GIS tools and solutions, focusing on ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes and ArcGIS Online

• To define our geodata strategy across the entire value chain of renewable energy by developing, developing and implementing geodata solutions that support solar and onshore wind projects across Europe

• Responsibility for innovative solutions using the latest technologies and work with other members of the geodata team to define and implement them

• Act as a specialist to advise internal teams in geo-related matters and best practices, and give business colleagues input to use geodata and solutions for decision-making and optimization of renewable energies

• Provide training and guidance for non-geodata experts to improve the understanding and use of geodata in teams

• Manage the processing, analysis and visualization of geodata to meet business requirements, including large-scale mapping, spatial analysis and data integration

• actively shape the future of Uniper's renewable energy business by working on innovative projects and technology trends such as real-time and big data analytics, generic AI, 3D and digital twin

• Support in configuration of ArcGIS-based applications (web, desktop, mobile devices) based on user requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Geosciences, Environmental Sciences or a Related Area

• Ability to evaluate the business objectives, objectives and strategies of a customer and implement them in technical implementation plans and solutions

• Strong experience in the development and deployment of geodata solutions with geodata technologies, in particular ArcGIS, in the field of renewable energies and/or similar industries

• Proven track record in managing geo-related projects, including scoping, development and execution

• Knowledge in handling ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and related tools such as ArcGIS Dashboards, StoryMaps etc.

• Experience with cloud-based GIS solutions, including Kubernetes and/or AWS/Azure deployments, is of great advantage

• Embossed knowledge in spatial data formats, geoprocessing techniques and data integration (e.g. CAD, GPS data, remote sensing)

• Confidence with script languages (Python, SQL) and automation tools for spatial analysis and data management

• Embossed collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (IT, technology, operation) in a fast-paced environment
