The UKSH operates as a free carrier of youth assistance a facility with currently 228 Kita plans. The squares are divided into two houses with 16 groups on campus.

The facilities are from Monday to Friday from 5.45 am to 6 pm or open until 21 o'clock if required. The KiTa is also open on Saturdays and on certain holidays from 5:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
