Number: MER00044PV Do you want to get insights into the global logistics of a global automotive company and actively work to ensure that parts and components are in the right place at the right time? Then you're right with us. Our team Sea and Air Freight Network Planning International plans and optimizes global air and sea transport services for Mercedes-Benz Cars, Vans and Global Customer Service & Parts. We design international transport networks from the concept phase to ongoing operation. This is what we expect: You support the analysis and development of international supply chains and the planning and tendering of logistics services

You carry out planning enquiries and support short-term calls

You’ll start regular reports, such as sales, fuel development and the performance of our service providers

You are in exchange with international internal partners such as works, Global Logistic Center, freight purchase and other stakeholders

You communicate with external transport service providers and get direct insights into the logistics industry

You prepare meetings, workshops and discussions with service providers and actively participate

You support presentations and decision documents for management

You can help build and develop tools for strategic network planning

You enter our Mercedes-Benz social intranet group and develop it with your own ideas

You start our logistics newsletter weekly and publish it in the Mercedes-Benz Social Intranet

The activity can begin from September 2026.

You study business management, economic engineering or a comparable degree course, ideally focusing on transport, logistics or supply chain management

You communicate safely in German and English, in writing as oral

You are fit in handling Microsoft Office; Experience with content creation or interest in social media marketing is a plus

You bring experience in dealing with popular AI tools or you want to integrate these smart into your everyday work

You like to work in the team, think analytically, bring your own initiative and want to take responsibility in an international environment
