Systems Engineer / IT-Support (m/f/d)

In order to strengthen our IT team in the TUM microbiological diagnostics in Munich, we are looking for one/n in full time or part time (min. 26 hours / week) at the next possible time:

The Institute of Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Hygiene of the Technical University of Munich is part of the TUM School of Medicine and Health and is located on the campus of the Klinikum rechts der Isar. In the fields of research, teaching and diagnostics currently around 165 employees work together in a modern and efficient functional unit.

Our diagnostic laboratories carry out bacterial, molecular biological, serological, parasitological and hospital hygiene laboratory tests for the clinics of the Technical University of Munich. The team consists of doctors, medical technologists and laboratory aids and jointly examine patient samples for infection pathogens and test bacteria for their resistances. Centrally in the laboratory is the laboratory information software that cumulates information about patients, pathogens and resistances and findings transmitted to the University Hospital.

Your tasks:

• Administration and further development of our laboratory information software with interfaces to Klinikum and University
• Maintenance, maintenance and updating of Windows servers as well as client operating systems
• Administration and further development of our IT infrastructure
• First and second level support for our employees
• Connection of diagnostic devices to our laboratory information software
• Installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software components
• Support and administration of Windows networks
• Microsoft SQL Server management and optimization
• Documentation of IT systems and processes
• Active cooperation and integration in our dedicated and very friendly team

Your profile:

• Completed studies in IT or comparable qualification
• Found experience in the administration and maintenance of Windows networks and servers
• Programming skills desirable
• Knowledge in handling laboratory software is desirable, but no requirement
• Experience in IT support (hard and software), ideally first and second level support
• Self-employed, structured and solution-oriented working methods
• High readiness, flexibility and hands-on mentality
• Team skills and communication strength
• Friendly, professional handling of colleagues
• Good knowledge of German (min. B2)

We offer:

Employment is carried out in the employment relationship of the public service with remuneration according to TV-L. The place is limited to two years, an extension is possible and is sought with appropriate suitability. The TUM seeks an increase the proportion of women, women's applications are therefore explicitly welcomed. You will receive an annual special payment, an occupational pension scheme of the Federal and Länder pension fund (VBL). The TV-L also includes a location dependent Large room allowance and 30 days of holiday and two other days of work on 24.12. and 31.12.
