= Job description

As an analog design engineer (m/w/divers), specify, design and implement functional circuit modules to meet the specifications of an ASIC. They have the opportunity to work with Continental's diverse innovative automotive applications and to find optimized solutions for their specific needs. Special care is required in the design to meet the high demands of the automotive industry. The willingness to support the layout of the circuits you design is desired.

• Participation in feasibility studies for ASIC module functions and specification definition
• Definition of ASIC module functions and requirements based on requirements at system level
• Design, simulation and testing of analog and mixed signal circuits
• Circuit design and design documentation at transistor level
• Design validation and verification
• Development and documentation of test concepts and procedures
• Modeling of analog functionality in high-level description language (Verilog, VerilogAMS) based on the requirement specification
• Cooperation with digital design, layout, verification, test and application teams
• Cooperation with analog designers at worldwide locations
• Cooperation with external design houses and foundry partners

Qualifications

The ideal candidate (m/w/d) has the following qualifications:

• Master of Science / PhD in Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics / Physics or similar
• Funded expertise in design, simulation and testing of analogue and mixed signal circuits with state-of-the-art ASIC design tools (Cadence)
• knowledge in the layout of analog circuits desirable
• Experience in the development of automotive applications and large-scale production processes
• Experience in the analysis and evaluation of integrated circuits in the laboratory environment
• knowledge of semiconductor production processes (production, testing, fault analysis)
• Planning and organizational skills, initiative and communication skills, desire for growth and development
• Insufficient design experience desirable
• Very good knowledge of English in word and writing, advanced knowledge of German is desirable
• ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
