Automotive Mechatronics Technician / Field Service Commercial Vehicles / Vehicle Technology (m/f/d)

Maintenance & repair: You carry out maintenance and repair work on waste collection vehicles and sweeping machines at our local customers, always in coordination with the relevant customer center. Interface function: As a representative of the customer center, you form the interface between our customers and the technical support in the factory. Customer advice: You advise our customers in the selection and ordering of spare parts as well as the professional operation and maintenance of the vehicles. Technical support: For technical questions, you are competent to assist our customers and carry out instructions to the vehicles. Tests & controls: You carry out technical tests according to DGUV Rule 70 and carry out functional checks. Documentation: Your applications and works are carefully documented on modern digital devices. Travel activity: Its activities include a readiness to travel up to 75% within a radius of about 200 kilometres. Local nights may be required. Service vehicle: A modern and well-equipped service vehicle with assistance systems is available for your external services.

Training: You have completed technical training, for example as a motor vehicle mechatronic (m/w/d), agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics (m/w/d), commercial vehicle technician (m/w/d), mechatronics (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification. Expertise: You bring well-founded knowledge in the fields of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical engineering, electronics and mechanics. Industry experience: Ideally, you have experience in special-vehicle construction or in construction engineering, for example with municipal or fire-fighting vehicles, crane and lifting technology or comparable special constructions. High-voltage knowledge: experience or qualification in the high-voltage range is desirable. A corresponding certification via FAUN is possible. Driving licence: You have a driving licence of class B. A driving licence of class C or CE is advantageous. Customer orientation: You will enjoy direct customer contact and convince by a friendly, service-oriented and professional appearance.
