• Development and maintenance of the software for flight radios with voice and data functions

• Specification, realization and verification of device software

• preparation of test plans and test descriptions as well as implementation of module and function tests directly on the device

• Integration of new software modules into existing systems including device tests – taking into account targeted solutions and efficient processes

• Use of modern software design methods and tools such as UML and Enterprise Architect

• Participation in reviews and tests as part of an interdisciplinary, collegial development team

• Study of (technical) computer science, electrical engineering with focus on technical computer science or comparable qualification

• Knowledge of embedded software development with C/C++ and technical understanding of hardware-related systems

• Real-time operating system experience (RTOS)

• Good knowledge of German and English (min. B2) for documentation, testing and communication in the international development context – as well as the willingness to participate actively in the team

• Ideally knowledge in the field of functional safety (e.g. DO-178, ISO 26262, IEC 61508)

• First touch points with software Defined Radio of advantage
